Our inaugural training program will focus on traditional and natural finishes-including linseed oil paint, shellac, limewash, tung oil, stains, milk paints and other heritage coatings. This will be a multi-day, immersive training that blends expert-led demonstrations with substantial hands-on practice. The program will take place at a late 18th century former-Masonic Lodge in the charming “Quiet Corner” of Connecticut in the town of Eastford. Its intact historic surfaces and ample indoor/outdoor work areas create ideal conditions for finishes-focused instruction. We are designing two complementary tracks.
