The Event
About the Event
Our inaugural training program will focus on traditional and natural finishes, including linseed oil paint, shellac, limewash, tung oil, stains, milk paints and other heritage coatings. This will be a multi-day, immersive training that blends expert-led demonstrations with substantial hands-on practice. The program will take place at a late 18th century former-Masonic Lodge in the charming “Quiet Corner” of Connecticut in the town of Eastford. The Castle’s intact historic surfaces and ample indoor and outdoor work areas create ideal conditions for finishes-focused instruction. There are two complimentary tracks that can be registered for separately or together.
